Technimark bringing 30 jobs to Randolph County

RALEIGH -- Technimark, a company that makes plastic injection molding for companies such as Walmart and Proctor & Gamble, will add 30 jobs at its global headquarters in Randolph County and invest $20 million in Asheboro over the next four years, Gov. Bev Perdue’s office announced Thursday. Officials said the average annual wage for the new jobs will be $61,333 plus benefits. The Randolph County average annual wage is $29,952.

The company currently employs 639 workers in Randolph County.

"Technimark is very thankful to our state and local governments for their help in keeping Randolph County and Asheboro in the forefront of our growing footprint,” said Fred Richey, the corporate vice president of operations.
