Job assistance, referral, and placement program for transitioning military personnel, their adult dependents, and DOD civilian workers offers employers access to large pool of qualified potential employees. 55 ACAP Centers at all major Army installations including Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.

Centers maintain computer database of job vacancy announcements, categorized by occupation and geographical location. Employers complete one page job listing form to be included in "Hot Leads" database used intensely by program clients.

The service is free and employers are under no obligation to hire from client pool. Other benefits are daily updates of electronic database, employers maintain control of hiring, and potential pool is huge. There were more than 12,000 program clients in 1996 at Ft. Bragg alone. Ft. Bragg hosts weekly and monthly Job Fairs. Forms are available from the EDC office at 626-2233.
