Federal job training program offering job placement assistance, assessment, basic education, motivational training and counseling. Emphasis is placed on meeting the training needs of the business community. Program clients may be eligible for on-the-job training assistance, reimbursing employers 50% of the employee's wages while they are in training. The program provides training assistance for dislocated workers affected by layoffs or plant shutdown.
