Assists welfare recipients with job placement and training so they take responsibility for themselves and their families. Case managers match program clients with suitable occupation, and program provides transportation and child care assistance. Employers who hire from these clients may qualify for Welfare-to-Work Tax Credit offering 35-50% credits in qualified wages up to a certain limit over two years.
