Loans are made for improving, developing, or financing business and industry, creating jobs, and improving the economic and environmental climate in rural communities under 50,000 population. This loan can be for fixed assets, working capital, and certain types of debt financing. The dollar range is $10 million (in some cases up to $25 million) with a negotiated interest rate either fixed or variable. The loan must be secured and requires 20% equity. Terms range from 7 to 30 years.
